" Idhu Kanal Neer alla Amirtham (Seniors) "
I don’t know whether everyone makes friends with seniors in
their very first year. Thank god! I made friendship with Sariga in very first year. I still remember the day working with
her at Maths Lab for 2015 OPEN HOUSE. I didn’t choose ECE of my own interest. But
she had motivated me to continue the course with more interest. She would
always say positive things about any subject.
I wanted to work with them at some point of time. Second
year, I worked with them again for our college Open House 2016. I worked with Vikas, Thenappan, Naveen, Rahul and many more to establish a Laser
Game. We had too much hurdles in establishing the game. Even in harder times
they were motivated and they never gave up. Yes I learnt team spirit from them.
I felt jealous of their class and even I wanted to motivate my own class to
participate in such extra curriculum activities.
In third year beginning, I had to contact our seniors for Immadhudin and Ifan regarding The Hobby
Electronics Club. They are the scientist
of our department. They have organised many events for us. They had inspired us
so much technically, not only for the current 3rd years but also for
the entire department.
Savitha, Sumithra and
Chitra has become a good friend to me after the splatters event. Savitha is
a straight forward person. And she was so friendly. She encourage me you join
IA club. Sorry Akka I could not attend few meeting since I was held up in HOD
room to get permission for the Farewell. Anyways I will surely keep up the
promise.
While designing Antenna with my classmate Fayaz in 5th
Semester, I met Tanzeem Fathima who
was relaxing after all her record correction got over. I had few chat with her.
We had good understanding since we are similar stream.
I wanted even more opportunity to work with them. But I had
to wait till the 6th semester. This time I spent maximum time with
many of them. I shot promo with Rahul
and Naveen. Spent much time with Irfan and worked along with him for
Crescent Hunt.
I’ve always wanted my life to be learning. Every single
moment with my seniors I learnt something. When I was with Naveen and Raghul we could experiment a lot with
camera. Many of which might not have worked out as we expected. When I was with Thenappan and Srinivasan,
I could see their efforts for their project. The Ultra creative star Naveen, who was planning to make Robots
to get water from Kerala dams (LOL). It was few funny discussions we had which
may not be inked. But those are ever green conversions. Vignesh has just been one of the best friends with whom I can
hangout and we used to discuss about CBD and other NGO activities.
Irfan refered me to Sanjana.
Truly one the best senior I ever had. I had never spoken to her in person. My
very first conversation with her was on WhatsApp. She has treated me like person
with whom she had a more familiarity. She had guided me on few things too.
I spent time with Venkat
talking about his future plans to German. I wish him all the best. Nijas has
the best moustache. I had spent times with him talking about his school life and
his mathematics marks, which screwed up his life.
Recently When I was part of one last event hosted by our
seniors for the 12th standard students, I felt I’m blessed. They
gave me more room to set question paper for the event. I could also interact
with many more seniors like Nandhini,
Dhanush etc.
The Microsoft guy Vetri who is always busy with his work but
he used to pick up my calls at any cost. Vetri
and Raghul I wish you too be the
same as you were in the first Year.
The list will be so big. I might have left few names. Or I might
have forgotten few names like our department’s Android Genie. Please do forgive
me.
I spent almost maximum amount of time in the 6th
semester with my seniors rather than even my own classmates. I will really miss
u a lot. With the current media and technology we are not much far away. Yet I
wish to meet you all at least once a year when you all reunite.
I hope you all liked our farewell!!!
I thank everyone so much for everything you had been to me.
I wish to be the same to my own juniors and I will be.
I would like to end saying my first friend Praveni, in entire senior batch who I
met on the same day 2015 Open House. She had motivated us all on the whenever the
teams energy is down. We might not have carried out our efforts for the Laser
Game if she was not motivating us. Even though she was working on a different project,
she will be the first person to leave the college to buy anything we needed for
the Laser Game.
She has always called me as Thambi. She just treated me as
her own brother.
It took me an hour to believe what had happened to her. By
the I wished to go to her home, I couldn’t
find any of my seniors. I couldn’t be for her funeral rites; I felt my heart
bleeds for her. I couldn’t be a proper brother on that day. I wish she forgive me. I wish she bless me. I believe she is always with me and every one of us.
