Everybody was talking about the resent violence in the Chennai
metropolitan city. Let it be a Swathi murder case, lawyer murder and so on, all
are just taking against the murderer. But no one is looking at the violence
which is being inculcated within our own family through Television channels.
There is a censor board which sensor bad language, violent scene,
political issues and so on. But no one ever cares why there is no censor board
which takes care of these TV series. Even TV series have violent scenes, bad
languages and so on.
And I can openly quote out that "SUN TV" is one of those TV
channels which inculcates all sort of unethical activities right into the
family. For example "PRIYAMANAVAL", "DEIVA MAGAL" and so
on.
I'm not a person who regularly watch SUN TV, Especial I'm the one who
hate such serials. But my fate I had to watch these serials along with my mom
who couldn't engage herself with anything else while she serves dinner for us.
Just a small doubt, If a movies is said to be Adult movie just because
it has some violence then no child will be allowed. But a TV series which is
view along with everyone including children in the family. And the language
they use and violence they put forward just shows how much these directors are
spoiling the society.
After all nowadays an average movie is not watch by more than one lakh
people. But TV is watched by almost everyone in the TN.
Now which one needs even more attention. Also the fact that the TV
series are turning out to be a slow poison to society. People watch a movie for
2-3 hours almost once in a year. But TV serials are being watched every day.
Many people including Actor "Vivek" has criticised about this
in a jovial manner in one of his comedy. Its not Funny anymore. The people
should be aware that their children are the mirror of what the Watch and
listen.
I personally feel all these types of serial must be banned. If I use the
word banning people will protest that who are you to ban a TV series. It's just
personal wish to watch or not. But again my concern about my society cannot be
neglected.
The solution would to the problem would some government body which must
read the script before the shoot and approve or disapprove those scenes.
And also there must be a public government facility or portal where
people must be able to put forward there views about any particular scene which
is violent in any serials regardless of TV channels.
If I say these must be implemented in INDIA people will call me fool.
But just think the other way around, there will be a huge job opportunity which
would emerge in establishing these government institutions. It would benefit
all the people love to read stories and to get a job in field of their own
interest. Also this would be a platform for B.A. literature people to take up
this as career.
This would also make sure that directors would come with sensible
scripts.
